‘Westworld’: 8 Photos From Episode 7 “Trompe L’Oeil”

Trompe

Every clue matters when it comes to Westworld. HBO released eight new photos from the upcoming seventh episode “Trompe L’Oeil” to comb through while we wait/salivate for the next episode. The title is French and refers to the visual illusion in art that makes the viewer perceive a 3D object. Check out the rest of the photos below!

This second half of the show’s first season was produced after the publicized behind-the-scenes shutdown and features the addition of Creed star Tessa Thompson, soon to be seen as Valkyrie in Thor: Ragnarok. Her arrival in the previous episode teased as Delos Corporation Board member Charlotte Hale, who is assessing the growing problems in the park. As her appearances in the episode and trailer previously showed, she is cunning and bold. Meanwhile, Dolores and William are back after missing last episode, but thankfully us Maeve fans get more Thandie Newton as well. Bernard and Theresa are also characters on the show.

Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) and William (Jimmi Simpson) journey into treacherous terrain; Maeve (Thandie Newton) delivers an ultimatum; Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) considers his next move.

Written by Halley Gross & Jonathan Nolan; directed by Frederick E.O. Toye.

“Trompe L’Oeil” airs this Sunday, Nov. 13 at 9 p.m. on HBO. Check out the episode trailer here.
