‘Westworld’: 10 Predictions For The Final Two Episodes

Westworld can be as much a puzzle for us in the audience as it is for its characters. One thing I love about the show is how it isn’t just the questions, but how the characters investigate and respond to those questions. There’s a meta-layer to characters such as Dolores and the Man in Black searching for answers to the mysteries of the Maze or Ford’s new storyline. Like us in the audience, they search for a measure of catharsis in these quests, hoping to discover the meaning behind it all.

And “all” is a lot. With only two episodes left in the first season, HBO’s newest hit is a veritable gambit pileup smashed with a juggling act. In addition to the aforementioned quest for the Maze and new storyline involving Ford’s latest villain Wyatt, there’s Delos Corporation’s unsaid purpose for the hosts’ technology, Logan’s capture of William and Dolores, the identity of the long-dead Arnold, the fate of Elsie, and more. There’s been a ton of ground covered since our last theory round-up!

Click Next to scroll through the list and stroll through all the latest, updated theories in preparation for tonight’s penultimate hour, titled “The Well-Tempered Clavier.” It airs tonight at 9 p.m. on HBO (trailer here), followed by the season finale “The Bicameral Mind” next Sunday, Dec. 4. Westworld has already been renewed for 10-episode season 2 to begin in late 2017 or early 2018.
