‘Westworld’ Season Finale Synopsis Gives Last Cryptic Tease

Last week’s episode of Westworld basically confirmed most of the major fan theories that have been making the rounds since the first few episodes, but there’s still one more installment to go that will answer some of our lingering questions (except for one), including what the hell is going on with Dr. Ford’s new narrative and Dolores.

Jonathan Nolan helmed the season finale, which he wrote alongside his co-showrunner and wife Lisa Joy. “The Bicameral Mind” also marks the first time Nolan is returning to the director’s chair since the excellent pilot. The season finale is described as follows:

Ford (Anthony Hopkins) unveils his bold new narrative; Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) embraces her identity; Maeve (Thandie Newton) sets her plan in motion.

“The Bicameral Mind” airs Sunday, December 4 at 9/8c on HBO. Check out all our previous episode reviews below and expect the final one right after the supersized 90-minute finale airs.
