Wil Traval Reveals His ‘Jessica Jones’ Role; Could He Be Playing Nuke?

While we’ve learned a majority of the characters that will be appearing in the upcoming Jessica Jones, there’s still a few cast members who have roles that are yet to be revealed. It seems that actor Wil Traval might have a role that’s may actually be fairly significant to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While speaking with IGN, Traval revealed that he will be portraying a character named Simpson that will be based on post-Vietnam War super-soliders but “reinvented” for the series.

From the sounds of things, Traval will be playing a version of the character Frank Simpson aka Nuke. The character, who features the American flag tattooed on his face, came about as a result of an attempt to re-create that process that created Captain America. However, Simpson is highly-unstable and has been conditioned to blindly follow orders delivered by his superiors. Not exactly the kind of guy you want to hang out with. Let us know what you think about this one in the comments section below.
