It was recently reported that Ray Fisher’s Cyborg would be appearing in 2018’s The Flash alongside Ezra Miller as the titular speedster. If you were a big fan of this piece of information, then I may have some bad news for you.
Flash director Rick Famuyiwa has sent out a tweet that seems to suggest Cyborg won’t be teaming up with Flash in 2018 (which you can read below). However, this tweet is far from confirmation either way, and could easily be the director trying to misdirect fans so as to keep Cyborg’s appearance a surprise (akin to a certain Suicide Squad cameo that shall not be spoilt here). Perhaps Fisher hasn’t officially signed onto the film yet? It does seem likely Famuyiwa is messing with fans, and making a joking reference to an incident concerning Presidential hopeful Donald Trump. lWe should know more when the movie begins production in early 2017.

The Flash starring Ezra Miller will be directed by Rick Famuyiwa and is set for release in 2018. You can next see Miller and Fisher as their DC heroes in next year’s Justice League.
