Here’s A Description Of The ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ Comic-Con Footage

Wonder Woman 1984 Gal Gadot DCWarner Bros. has just screened the first footage of Wonder Woman 1984 at San Diego Comic Con which features Gal Gadot back in action as the iconic DC Comics heroine.

The footage made its debut exclusively for those in attendance at Hall H just moments ago. While much of the plot is largely kept under wraps, the description of what was screened seems to indicate that the film’s 1980s setting will encompass the film.

Plot details for Wonder Woman 1984 are currently under wraps, though the film will follow the Amazonian Princess during the Cold War as she faces off against the Soviet Union in the 1980s and encounters a new adversary named Cheetah.

Directed by Patty Jenkins and written by Dave Callaham, who based the script on a treatment by Jenkins and Geoff Johns, Wonder Woman 1984 stars Gal Gadot as the titular heroine, Kristen Wiig as Cheetah, Pedro Pascal in an undisclosed role, and Chris Pine as Steve Trevor.
