Wonder Woman & DC Dominate Halloween Costumes In 2017

Wonder Woman costume DCAfter Google released data on this year’s Halloween costume searches, it’s been revealed that Wonder Woman and DC have dominated in popularity.

The data shows the most searched for costume in each state. Wonder Woman ranked number one for 24/51 states (including the District of Columbia).

Coming in second, but far behind in the total number of states, was Harley Quinn at six.

Other popular costume searches were clown, dinosaur, rabbit, unicorn and zombie. Grabbing one state each were Catwoman, Joker and superhero.

It’s no surprise that Wonder Woman tops the costume searches in 24 states. Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman was a huge hit critically and commercially this summer. The film was praised by critics and fans alike, even garnering a 92% on film review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes. On a budget of $149 million, Wonder Woman raked in $821.4 million in box office revenue.
