‘Wonder Woman’ Star Gal Gadot On Diana’s Role In ‘Justice League’

Justice League Wonder WomanAfter the critical acclaim and record-breaking box office success of Wonder Woman, many fans believed the extensive reshoots for Justice League would give the Amazonian warrior a more prominent role in the superhero team-up film. In an interview with Empire Magazine, Gal Gadot stated that Diana’s screen time remained unchanged and commented on her role in the highly anticipated film.

Gal Gadot revealed how much time she spent doing reshoots and explained how Wonder Woman will be the glue that holds the team together:

“I did one week. Diana serves as the glue of the team. She finds moments to support every one of the team and make them feel stronger or believe in themselves.”

Revealing that Wonder Woman will be on the same level as the rest of the team in terms of screentime, Gadot added:

“But this is not a Wonder Woman movie.”

Justice League
The Justice League isn’t limited to the six members we saw in Zack Snyder’s film. The team has an expansive roster that features dozens of reserve characters ready to help the Justice League save the world on a moment’s notice.

With movies like the Green Lantern Corps and Shazam in the pipelines, it’s clear more heroes will be introduced to the DC Extended Universe soon. The Avengers featured a small team and it only grew as more characters were introduced into the Marvel movie universe. The Justice League is gonna need all the help it can get to fight Darkseid and keep the streets safe from lower-tier villains like Deathstroke and Joker.

Did I forget to include your favorite Justice League member? Well let me know in the comments why Fire and Firestorm are better choices.
