Booster Gold DC ComicsThe DC Extended Universe may be full of heroes already, but it’s missing one key figure: Booster Gold.

Created in 1986, Michael Jon Carter is originally from the 25th century. An impoverished college football player from Gotham City, Carter eventually received a job at a 20th-century superhero museum. While working there, Carter became obsessed with the age of heroes and learned as much as he could. With the help of a security robot called Skeets, Carter stole key heroic artifacts and traveled back in-time to use his knowledge of the past to his advantage.

Not only does Carter want to be the best superhero in the world, he wants to make sure he’s never broke like he was in the past. So, unlike every other superhero out there, Booster Gold receives numerous corporate sponsorships he has to plug while fighting the bad guys. Typically seen as a laughing stock among the superhero community, Carter is actually a solid guy who does want to help people.
