‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’ Set Photos Reveal New Cyclops Visor

X-Men Dark Phoenix Cyclops VisorWith production on X-Men: Dark Phoenix now underway in Montreal, CA, new set photos featuring Tye Sheridan as Cyclops have hit the web, revealing Scott Summers will don a new visor in the upcoming film.

After being introduced as the young Scott Summers in last years X-Men: Apocalypse, Sheridan reprises his role in the next installment under the direction of Simon Kinberg. While the actor was not featured in the character’s iconic visor until the closing moments of Apocalypse, the new film is already set to give Scott an upgrade as the franchise takes another stab at the Dark Phoenix saga.

In addition to directing, Kinberg has also written the script and will produce the film with Hutch Parker and Lauren Schuler Donner. Kinberg’s previous involvement with the franchise spans over a decade as he has written the main installments of the ongoing film series since X-Men: The Last Stand with the exception of X-Men: First Class. He is also producing Deadpool 2 and New Mutants.

X-Men: Dark Phoenix stars Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Tye Sheridan, Evan Peters, Kodi-Smit McPhee, Alexandra Shipp, Lamar Johnson and Sophie Turner.

X-Men: Dark Phoenix is currently slated to hit theaters November 2nd, 2018.
