X-Men & Fantastic Four Could Potentially Meet On The Big Screen In 2018

According to Latino-Review in 2018 Fox has huge plans for the Fantastic Four and the X-Men franchise.  Assuming that X-Men Apocalypse and Fantastic Four are hit films Fox has potential plans to move forward with a big crossover event in 2018.

There is a big chance that if that does happen it would consist of the cast from this year’s Fantastic Four, but it’s unclear which X-Men would be a part of this.  This is not a guaranteed thing as of right now, but Fox is looking to do this if their line of upcoming superhero films impresses. Having a crossover film is ideal for Fox in being able to utilize all of their comic book properties to draw in a big audience and to capitalize on the film rights they have for both the Fantastic Four and the X-Men.

Fox already has its own universe of X-Men films including the upcoming Deadpool film.  Including the Fantastic Four into this universe could either be a big success, or a big flop depending on how the new films are received critically and financially.

This is all still in the talks over at Fox, so as of right now it’s not official, but it is a big possibility that this will occur in 2018 so we will just have to wait and see what happens.

Fantastic Four will be released on August 7th, of this year.

X-Men: Apocalypse will be released on May 27th of 2016.
