RUMOR: The Skrulls May Be Introduced In ‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’ Before ‘Captain Marvel’

X-Men Dark Phoenix SkrullsManabyte’s Blog reports that X-Men: Dark Phoenix will introduce the Skrulls before Captain Marvel.

The blog’s claims to have received confirmation from a “longtime source” that X-Men: Dark Phoenix will feature the Skrulls, who were recently announced to be a part of Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel film. The source also allegedly reported that Dark Phoenix does not match the quality of Days of Future Past, but it does surpass the critically lambasted Apocalypse.

The source reportedly stated that Dark Phoenix was “similar in issues” to X-Men: First Class and added that the film is very serious with very little humor. Director Simon Kinberg reportedly did a “good job with it.”
