Man Of Steel Zack Snyder

“In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Cavill) is a young twentysomething journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond anyone’s imagination. Transported to Earth years ago from Krypton, an advanced alien planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question – Why am I here? Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Costner), Clark soon discovers that having super abilities means making very difficult decisions. But when the world needs stability the most, it comes under attack. Will his abilities be used to maintain peace or ultimately used to divide and conquer? Clark must become the hero known as “Superman,” not only to shine as the world’s last beacon of hope but to protect the ones he loves.”

Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel is available on Blu-Ray/DVD as well as on Digital HD.

Cavill will be reprising the role of Superman in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, starring Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman, Ezra Miller as  Barry Allen/The Flash, Ray Fisher as Victor Stone/Cyborg, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Amber Heard as Mera, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielson as Queen Hippolyta and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner James Gordon, which opens in theaters on Friday, November 17.

  • Nick Farina

Dear God, DC, announce the next solo Superman flick already!

    • Maxi Iroh

I think they’ll have a new slate by February of next year.
Batman, GCS, Batgirl, Flash, Superman, JLD, Nightwing, GLC

      • Nick Farina

Hope so! This year’s comic con would be an excellent place to launch their updated film slate, with directors.

        • Maxi Iroh

There could be directors announced for MoS2, Flash, JLD and SS2, but i think dates will be released only after JL comes out.

Announcing directors/writers at the very least will make the projects “real” so I’d be fine with that.
