Sony has revealed the release dates for the both Zombieland 2 and the Valiant comic book film Bloodshot staring Vin Diesel.
Sony Pictures has set Zombieland 2 for an October 11, 2019 release, with Bloodshot due out February 21, 2020. Sony announced earlier this month a Zombieland sequel was official happening with Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg and Abigail Breslin all reprising their roles. The film is expected to start shooting in January 2019.
As Sony tries to launch a Spider-Man cinematic universe with Venom this October, Bloodshot will kick-off their Valiant cinematic universe. Sony has a five-picture deal with Valiant comics with plans for a reported two-part Harbinger film down the line.
Zombieland 2 stars Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg and Abigail Breslin. The film is being directed by Venom helmer Ruben Fleischer.
Bloodshoot stars Vin Diesel, Tobey Kebbell, Michael Sheen and Johannes Hakur Johannesson. The film will also be produced by Neal Moritz, the producer for the Fast & Furious films, with Dave Wilson set to direct.
