First ‘Cars 3’ Teaser Trailer Has Been Released

Fans of Disney and Pixar don’t have very much longer to wait for a third Cars movie. Cars 3 is slated to be released about half way through 2017, so right now seems like a perfect time to release the film’s first teaser trailer. Disney tweeted the teaser earlier today, and you can check it out right here:

The first teaser for Cars 3 clocks in at a little under a minute, and features an ominous sequence leading into text that reads, “From this moment, everything will change”. The movie’s main character, Lightning McQueen (voiced by Owen Wilson) is shown in a heart-pounding race that doesn’t seem to end very well for him.

As McQueen speeds around the track, he looses control and gets into what looks like is about to be a terrible accident. He gets air and starts barrel rolling, as the scene is cut off, indicating that the accident is the main propellant for the film’s story. It’s not an elaborate sequence, but it is exciting and gives us an idea of what to expect as the main plot driver for the film.

Jack of some trades, master of some others. That saying never really made a lot of sense to me.

Thank God. They’ll murder their main char, and with it, this frigging useless garbage franchise.

Do more movies like Wall-E, not goddamn Cars sequels.
