‘Kong: Skull Island’: Brand New Teaser Officially Released

A new teaser has been released for 'Kong: Skull Island' in anticipation of its second trailer, which is slated to be released in four days.

With only four days left until a new trailer for Kong: Skull Island is released, it appears the studio is doing everything it can to squeeze the anticipation out of its fans by releasing a new teaser. The teaser is a brief, 11 second video that is meant to build excitement for the release of the film’s second trailer.

The quick video begins with a black and white map, as it switches to a quick shot of helicopters approaching what is presumably Skull Island. A distress signal screen then appears, which simply says, “4 days.” It then switches once again to a message: “All Hail the King” with a hashtag for #KongSkullIsland. Check out the tweet containing the teaser, below:

The first trailer was released during this summer’s San Diego Comic Con, and we first heard news about the second trailer only a couple weeks ago. Kong has always been a figure in pop culture, so there is almost no doubt this version will be any less successful.

Kong: Skull Island stars Brie Larson as Weaver, Tom Hiddleston as Captain James Conrad, Toby Kebbell as Major Chapman, Tian Jing as San, Samuel L. Jackson as Lieutenant Colonel Packard, John Goodman as Bill Randa, with Corey Hawkins, John C. Reilly, and Jason Mitchell.
