RUMOR: The Villain For ’Justice League’ Revealed

The DC Extended Universe has kicked off since the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the second film in the DC franchise which will be followed by David Ayer’s Suicide Squad when it comes out on August 5 and then Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman which comes out next summer. But next year is also going to feature the assembling of DC’s Justice League as Zack Snyder is currently shooting Justice League: Part 1 in London. While we know many of the heroes that will be showing up in the film, we have yet to learn who the actual big bad is going to be, however a new rumor may have given us some insight to who it could be.

Devin Faraci of Birth Movies Death is reporting that Darkseid is in fact not the big villain that the Justice League is going up against as it will be someone that was featured in a deleted scene of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. According to Faraci, we will be seeing Steppenwolf facing the titans of the DC Universe in the first Justice League film. He also goes on to say that while Darkseid is in the film at the end, but isn’t expected to have a large role until Justice League: Part 2 perhaps.
