Adam Driver forgot the title of Star Wars: The Last Jedi while promoting The Rise of Skywalker.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens introduced Adam Driver to the franchise as Kylo Ren, the son of Han Solo and Leia Organa who turned to the dark side despite Luke Skywalker’s efforts to teach him the ways of the force. In the sequel, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren rose to the rank of Supreme Leader of the First Order after murdering his mentor and predictor, Snoke.
While the events of Star Wars: The Last Jedi may have been monumental for his character, it appears Adam Driver had troubled remembering the title of the film during a recent interview. While commenting on his previous appearances in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, Adam Driver stumbled when trying to recall the title of The Last Jedi, eventually just settling on calling it “the second one.”
Adam Driver is set to reprise his role as Kylo Ren in The Rise of Skywalker. In the meantime, fans can still rewatch Star Wars: The Last Jedi on all home media formats:
“In Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the Skywalker saga continues as the heroes of The Force Awakens join the galactic legends in an epic adventure that unlocks age-old mysteries of the Force and shocking revelations of the past.”
Written and directed by Rian Johnson, Star Wars: The Last Jedi stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Kelly Marie Tran, Laura Dern, Frank Oz and Benicio del Toro.
