Adrianne Palicki Wants To Return To ‘Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.’

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

As a fan of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., one of the most disappointing things in the last couple of seasons was the departure of Adrianne Palicki’s Bobbi Morse/Mockingbird and Nick Blood’s Lance Hunter. The characters were written out of the show in Season 3 to prepare them for their own spinoff, called Marvel’s Most Wanted, which never went beyond the pilot stage. While their exit was handled wonderfully in AoS, it is a bit unfortunate that neither character returned for Season 4 after ABC passed on their spinoff.

We do know now that Blood will finally be returning as Lance Hunter for at least one episode of the show’s upcoming fifth season, but what about Palicki? The actress is currently starring alongside Seth MacFarlane in The Orville on FOX, but she is not ruling out a return to the Marvel universe.

While appearing at New York Comic Con this past weekend, Palicki told International Business Times that should would love to reprise her role in the ABC series, stating:

“If they ask me, I would absolutely come back. I know Nick’s coming back. So what are they gonna do without Bobbi is all I’m asking. I would absolutely make a cameo. For sure.”

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. stars Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson, Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson/Quake, Ming-Na Wen as Melinda May, Iain De Caestecker as Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Jemma Simmons, Henry Simmons as Alphonso “Mack” MacKenzie, and Natalia Cordova-Buckley as Elena Rodriguez/Yo-Yo.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns for its fifth season on Friday, December 1st on ABC.

Agents of SHIELD

This week marked the season finale of the fourth season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Suffice to say, this has been a stellar season for the show. Probably one of Marvel’s best seasons on television (depending on how you feel about Legion). Season 4 gave us 3 distinct story arcs: Ghost Rider, LMD, and Agents of Hydra, and all of them were perfect. There was the right amount of drama, actions, story, and intrigue that held us over from week to week. Despite having a later timeslot this season, the ratings (thanks to loyal fans) held strong and the show was renewed for a 5th season in the 2017-2018 season for ABC. Even though the show is now in the “Friday Night Death Slot,” ABC President Channing Dungey is not worried as he feels the show has a strong enough fanbase to still do a great job, which it why Inhumans and Once Upon a Time will also share Friday nights with them.

As stated before, the season finale was an exceptional close to an explosive season. You can check out our review of the episode as well as our pointing out of all the MCU Easter Eggs for that episode. As the season finale ended with a great cliffhanger, there are so many places for the 5th season to go. Here are a few things in the upcoming season to look forward to. Click Next to take a look…

I for one would love to see Adrienne Pawlicki return to AOS. I love her on The Orville as well.
