Yesterday, Disney released a new special look at the live-action remake of Aladdin and the footage revealed the first look at the magic carpet.
The latest preview for Disney’s Aladdin revealed the first look at Will Smith as the blue Genie and fans are overwhelmingly unimpressed with the iconic character’s new design. However, the preview also revealed the first footage of the Magic Carpet, the sentient Persian carpet who befriends the titular hero and helps him survive the perils in the Cave of Wonders.

“Aladdin” is the exciting tale of the charming street rat Aladdin, the courageous and self-determined Princess Jasmine and the Genie who may be the key to their future.
Directed by Guy Ritchie from a script he co-wrote with John August, the film stars Will Smith as the Genie, Mena Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Jasmine, Marwan Kenzari as Jafar, Navid Negahban as the Sultan, Nasim Pedrad as Dalia, Billy Magnussen as Prince Anders, and Numan Acar as Hakim.
Aladdin will be released in theatres on May 24, 2019.
