Thanks to the wonders of Disney overseas marketing, we have a fresh look at Will Smith as Genie and Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine from the upcoming live-action remake of Aladdin.
The new takes on Will Smith and Naomi Scott come to us from a beautiful new international poster for Aladdin, which features a colorfully rendered portrait from one of the most iconic scenes in the original animated film. We are talking about when Jasmine (Naomi Scott) and Aladdin (Mena Massoud) are flying around on the magic carpet singing A Whole New World with the backdrop of a dually lit moon.
Check out the poster for yourself below:
The poster allows us a better look at Naomi Scott as she sports the iconic blue dress that Naomi Scott’s princess wears in the original.
Flying along just below the two lovebirds is Will Smith as Genie, in all his blue majesty. Of course, he is never far from his lamp, which can be seen in the bottom right-hand corner. In addition to his golden wrist bonds, Will Smith is draped in what appears to be some royal blue fabric, fitting for the theatrical and mighty nature of the character.
