The cast for Marvel Studios’ upcoming Disney Plus series Echo starring Alaqua Cox has been revealed.
One of Marvel Studios’ newest series that is currently in production is Echo. The series, which will star actress Alaqua Cox in the titular role, which she will reprise from Hawkeye, looks to further expand the criminal underground of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Along with yesterday’s first official photo from the Echo, the official cast accompanying Alaqua Cox in this series has also been revealed. Joining Cox are Chaske Spencer (Wild Indian, The English), Tantoo Cardinal (Killers of the Flower Moon, Stumptown), Devery Jacobs (FX’s Reservation Dogs, American Gods) and Cody Lightning (Hey, Viktor!, Four Sheets to the Wind), with Graham Greene (1883, Goliath) and Zahn McClarnon (Dark Winds, FX’s Reservation Dogs).
Will we see Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio in Echo?
With Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio’s recent appearances in Spider-Man: No Way Home and Hawkeye respectively, some are wondering if this signifies that the two will also appear in Echo. At this moment, nothing is confirmed, but given that Wilson Fisk has an integral role to the character’s story exhibited in Hawkeye, it will only make sense to see him in it too.
Here is the official synopsis for Echo:
“The origin story of Echo revisits Maya Lopez, whose ruthless behavior in New York City catches up with her in her hometown. She must face her past, reconnect with her Native American roots and embrace the meaning of family and community if she ever hopes to move forward.”
Serving as executive producers on Echo are Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Stephen Broussard, Richie Palmer, Marion Dayre, and Jason Gavin, while Amy Rardin, Sydney Freeland, Christina King, and Jennifer Booth will serve as co-executive producers.
