‘Alien: Covenant’: Official Red Band Trailer Released

FX Alien Covenant Noah Hawley FX Ridley Scott Blade Runner Fede Alvarez Ridley Scott

The second trailer for Alien: Covenant was released earlier this week, but now we also have the uncensored red band version as well! In the revised trailer below, there are a few more shots that did not make it into the regular trailer, including: more looks at the Xenomorph, a burnt corpse, a brief cut to someone “becoming” a Xenomorph, a screaming woman covered in blood, and Carmen Ejogo’s character yelling “Get me the f*** out of here!”

For an already terrifying trailer, the red band version does put off an even greater sense of danger and urgency than was in the original. Check it out below.

In Alien: Covenant, Michael Fassbender returns as the synthetic David (with a dual role as a newer model named Walter) alongside Noomi Rapace, who played Prometheus protagonist Elizabeth Shaw. They’ll be joined by franchise newcomers Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Guy Pearce, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz, Jussie Smollett, Callie Hernandez, Nathaniel Dean, Alexander England, Benjamin Rigby, and James Franco.

Ridley Scott returns to the universe he created, with ALIEN: COVENANT, a new chapter in his groundbreaking ALIEN franchise. The crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world. When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.
