Aquaman star Amber Heard recently admitted in court that she punched Johnny Depp after hearing rumors about his treatment of Kate Moss.
The legal battle between Johnny Depp and The Sun over defamation continued on Tuesday in the United Kingdom with new details being revealed about his relationship with Aquaman star Amber Heard. Depp is fighting the claim that he abused the Aquaman star that came from a story published in 2018 titled, “Gone Potty: How can JK Rowling be ‘genuinely happy’ casting wife beater Johnny Depp in the new Fantastic Beasts film?”
In the latest bit of testimony in court, Amber Heard recalled an alleged incident in 2015. Heard went on to admit that she punched Johnny Depp in the face after believing he was going to push her sister down the stairs and for hearing rumors about how the actor treated Kate Moss in a previous relationship:
“I did strike Johnny that day in defence of my sister. He was about to push her down the stairs and, the moment before that happened, I remembered information I had heard (that) he pushed a former girlfriend – I believe it was Kate Moss – down the stairs. I had heard this rumour from two people and it was fresh in my mind.”
Amber Heard went on to claim that Johnny Deep hit her for years and that the alleged incident in 2015 was the first time she hit him:
“In a flash I reacted in defence of her. For years I had never even hit him. I never so much as landed a blow and I will never forget this incident… it was the first time after all these years (I hit him).”
