A new workout video shows Amber Heard hard at work getting fit to play Mera in Aquaman 2.
Pre-production for DC’s highly anticipated Aquaman 2 has begun. Once again directed by James Wan, the Jason Momoa sequel is set to be titled Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom. Set to hit theaters in 2022, the sequel will see Amber Heard and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II returning for the sequel as well. The sequel is set to give us a deeper dive into the mythos of Atlantis as well as Arthur Curry’s new role as the kingdom of the ocean.
The superhero genre always demands its actors to be in peak physique, both on and off the screen. It’s no surprise that the workout routines for superhero films are quite intense, especially when considering the stunts actors have to pull off on screen. Amber Heard is one such actor who has a heavy workout routine for Aquaman 2. In a video posted to Twitter, Amber Heard shared a video of her workout to get in shape for the role of Mera once again.
