Amber Heard has taken to Instagram to share a new look at herself as Mera on the set of Aquaman which is currently in production.
Following the sneak peek at Heard on set with James Wan two weeks ago, Heard has shared an image of herself getting in some much-deserved relaxation and reading a book in between takes on James Wan’s swashbuckling action adventure.
Plot details are still under wraps however the film will feature Heard as Mera alongside Jason Momoa as the titular DC Comics hero. The actress has undergone intense and extensive training to physically prepare for the role, essentially becoming an athlete herself.

But Heard will first be seen making her debut in the DCEU in Zack Snyder’s Justice Leaguewhen it opens in theaters this fall. The film stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Amy Adams, Jeremy Irons and Jesse Eisenberg. Here’s the official synopsis:
