Ana De Armas Becomes Poison Ivy For Robert Pattinson’s ‘The Batman’ In Stunning Fan Art

Blade Runner 2049 star Ana de Armas transforms into Poison Ivy for Robert Pattinson’s The Batman in an impressive new concept design.

Although she was originally in the run to play Catwoman in The Batman, Ana de Armas becomes Poison Ivy for the DC Comics film in this stunning new artwork. The actress will next be seen opposite Daniel Craig in No Time To Die, which is currently set to hit theaters this November. However, a digital artist known as “Mizuri” recently took to Instagram to share a concept design that showcases what de Armas could look like as Poison Ivy for the next Batman trilogy from filmmaker Matt Reeves.

The artist explains that after originally designing Ana de Armas as the magician Zatanna, there were a number of requests to see the actress as Poison Ivy. The artwork imagines the actress with Poison Ivy’s iconic red hair and green eyes, taking cues from her various comic appearances where she’s made up from leaves, vines and other plants. Full plot details on The Batman are being kept under lock and key, but we know that the film will center on a younger Bruce Wayne and feature a Rogues’ Gallery of villains that includes Catwoman, The Penguin, and The Riddler. Following the Caped Crusader during his formative years as Gotham City’s protector, the film will make use of the Dark Knight’s detective skills to a greater extent than previous adaptations. It is expected to be the first chapter in a new trilogy with Robert Pattinson as Batman.

Directed by Matt Reeves from a script he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin, The Batman stars Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, with Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin.

The Batman is currently scheduled to be released in theaters on June 25, 2021. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding Ana de Armas, Robert Pattinson and the next Batman movie.
