Andy Serkis Becomes Alfred Pennyworth For Robert Pattinson’s ‘The Batman’ In Awesome Fan Art

A new piece of fan art reveals what Andy Serkis could look like as Alfred Pennyworth for Robert Pattinson’s The Batman.

After the recent news that Andy Serkis is in talks to join Robert Pattinson in The Batman as Alfred Pennyworth, fans wasted no time in imagining what his performance would be like. One artist delivered an intimidating depiction of Andy Serkis in the role shortly after the news arrived. It was also revealed within the same few hours that Colin Farrell is in talks to join Andy Serkis and Robert Pattinson’s The Batman as The Penguin. Matt Reeves is assembling an impressive cast for Batman’s next cinematic solo outing.

The artwork from popular artist BossLogic shows off a bloodied Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth in the Batcave, showing that this version of the butler is just as capable as Robert Pattinson’s Batman. With bloodstains on his gloves and splattered across his face, Andy Serkis’ Alfred Pennyworth is not someone villains should cross. You can see Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth for Robert Pattinson’s The Batman below.

Full plot details for The Batman are currently under wraps, though the film will center around a younger Bruce Wayne and feature a Rogues’ Gallery of villains that includes Catwoman, The Penguin, and The Riddler. The Matt Reeves film will follow Batman during his formative years as Gotham City’s protector and will make use of the Dark Knight’s detective skills to a greater extent than previous DC films. It is expected to be the first chapter in a new trilogy with Robert Pattinson as Batman.

Directed by Matt Reeves from a script he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin, The Batman stars Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon, and Paul Dano as the Riddler. Andy Serkis is in talks to play Alfred Pennyworth while Colin Farrell is being eyed for The Penguin.

The Batman arrives in theaters on June 25, 2021. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding Andy Serkis, Robert Pattinson and Batman’s future on the big screen.
