Anna Diop’s Starfire Saves SPOILER’s Life In New ‘Titans’ Episode

After Superboy dramatically saved Robin’s life, Anna Diop’s Starfire steps up to save Conner Kent in the latest episode of Titans.

While the Titans are currently fighting off Deathstroke’s deadly assault during the second season, it seems like they need to keep a closer eye on each other more than ever before. After Joshua Orpin’s Superboy caught Robin falling from the building, he was shot with bullets laced with Kryptonite, which nearly killed the young Superman clone. Luckily, another member of the Titans was able to figure out a way of saving his life before he succumbed to the Kryptonite. For once, Anna Diop’s Starfire was able to heal someone, rather than burning everything to a cinder.

After being told that Joshua Orpin’s Superboy needed the radiation from the sun to survive, Anna Diop’s Starfire instantly had a way of reviving him. Anna Diop’s Starfire ignited her fiery abilities and enveloped the two Titans in a torrent of fire while Raven made sure that Starfire’s abilities didn’t hurt the rest of the team. After that, Anna Diop’s Starfire managed to bring Joshua Orpin’s Superboy back from the brink, meaning he lives to fight another day with the Titans team. Since Deathstroke is more than a match for Joshua Orpin’s Superboy, Anna Diop’s Starfire and Brenton Thwaites’ Dick Grayson, it’ll take all of the Titans to bring him down.

What did you think of Anna Diop’s Starfire saving Joshua Orpin’s Superboy in the latest episode of Titans season 2? What else do you want to see the Titans get up to before taking on Deathstroke? Tell us in the comments!

Here is the official synopsis for Titans season 2:

In Season 2, following the aftermath of their encounter with Trigon, Dick reforms the Titans. Under his supervision in their new home at Titans Tower, Rachel, Gar and Jason Todd train together to hone their hero abilities and work together as a team. They are joined by Hank Hall and Dawn Granger aka Hawk and Dove and Donna Troy aka Wonder Girl. Although these original Titans attempt to transition into a regular life, when old enemies resurface everyone must come together to take care of unfinished business. And as this family of old and new Titans – including Conner Kent and Rose Wilson – learn to co-exist, the arrival of Deathstroke brings to light the sins of the old Titans which threaten to tear this new Titans family apart once more.

The series stars Brenton Thwaites as Richard “Dick” Grayson / Robin, Anna Diop as Koriand’r / Starfire, Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth / Raven, and Ryan Potter as Garfield “Gar” Logan / Beast Boy. Newcomers for its sophomore outing include Joshua Orpin and Esai Morales playing Superboy and Deathstroke, respectively, while Chella Man and Chelsea Zhang have also joined the cast as Deathstroke’s children.
