The third installment in the spin-off series, Annabelle will feature The Conjuring and The Conjuring 2 stars Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga reprising their roles as Ed and Lorraine Warren respectively.
Deadline reports that Wilson and Farmiga will appear in the new Annabelle sequel that currently has Gary Dauberman as writer and director. The report also states that Wilson and Farmiga will be involved in a supporting role capacity rather than at the forefront as seen in the first two Conjuring films.
Annabelle 3 is said to pick up where the Warrens place the infamous doll into a place where it no longer will bring upon horrors to people in their Artifacts Room. However, Annabelle has her eyes on terrorizing the Warrens’ 10-year-old daughter Judy, who will be fighting off the evils of Annabelle with her teenage babysitter cousin and the cousin’s friend.
James Wan’s The Conjuring hit theaters in 2013 and became a critical and commercial success. The film spawned spin-offs and a direct sequel that include Annabelle, The Conjuring 2, Annabelle: Creation and The Nun.
