Paul Rudd On THAT Ant-Man Vs Thanos ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Theory

Avengers Endgame Ant-Man Paul Rudd Thanos

The Avengers: Endgame Ant-Man vs Thanos theory that spawned countless memes has made its way to Paul Rudd via Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!.

The internet can be a very, very odd place sometimes. And when it comes to the fan theory on how Ant-Man can take down Thanos in Avengers: Endgame, I’m not sure that odd is even the right word anymore.

The Avengers: Endgame theory suggests that Ant-Man will shrink down to a microscopic size, crawl up into the the rear end of Thanos and then grow while still inside of him, effectively killing the Mad Titan. While clearly ludicrous, the theory has made waves on the internet was even brought up to Ant-Man actor, Paul Rudd, on Jimmy Kimmel LIVE! while the cast is on the Avengers: Endgame press tour.

You can see the exchange between Jimmy Kimmel and Paul Rudd at 15:15.

While he does play coy at first, Paul Rudd does give a huge, almost spoiler-level hint at the reality in the theory.

“Similar to your dream, one light difference.”

This could potentially spell out a number of possible events that could transpire in Avengers: Endgame. It’s not out of the realm of possibility that the Russo Brothers and writers Stephen McFeely and Christoper Markus had considered the Ant-Man could shrink down and enter the body of Thanos to either kill him or try and do significant damage. Paul Rudd’s response seemingly confirms something along those lines will happen, or at the very least be discussed, in Avengers: Endgame.

What are your thoughts on the Ant-Man vs Thanos theory/meme? Do you think it’s possible that something along those lines could happen in Avengers: Endgame now that Paul Rudd has seemingly confirmed so? Let us know in the comments down below!

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”
