‘Ant-Man’ Sequel Concept Art Shows Scott Lang’s Quantum Realm Suit

Ant-Man and The Wasp Marvel

A new piece of concept art showcasing an unused Quantum Realm suit for Scott Lang’s adventures in Ant-Man and the Wasp has surfaced online.

The Quantum Realm was a huge part of the Ant-Man sequel and audiences everywhere were shown how massive it truly is. This dimension was full of crazy imagery and a few Easter eggs. While Scott eventually makes it back in there during the mid-credit scene, we do see Hank Pym make his first trip to the Marvel realm in a 2001: A Space Odyssey-looking suit during the film. But apparently, at one point during the film’s development, there was the idea of Scott Lang, a.k.a. Ant-Man, having a similar suit. The design for this suit was posted by concept artist Andy Park. You can check out the post below.

While it didn’t make the final cut, the attire design is very well done. It would have been cool to see it in the film, but if rumors are true and the Quantum Realm is looking to become a big deal in the MCU, there is a good chance Lang may have a chance to wear it in the future.

Directed by Peyton Reed, Ant-Man and the Wasp stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, Michael Peña as Luis, David Dastmalchian as Kurt, Judy Greer as Maggie, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, Laurence Fishburne as Dr. Bill Foster, Walton Goggins as Sonny Burch, Hannah John-Kamen as the Ghost, and Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet van Dyne.

From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes “Ant Man and the Wasp,” a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink. In the aftermath of “Captain America: Civil War,” Scott Lang grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside the Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from the past.

Ant-Man And The Wasp is now available on Digital and Blu-Ray.
