Ant-Man star Michael Pena revealed that he doesn’t know if Luis survived Thanos’ decimation.
When Thanos used the Infinity Stones to wipe out half of the population in the universe at the end of Avengers: Infinity War, fans watched as some of their favorite heroes were erased from existence. However, not every MCU’s character fate was revealed on screen, leaving fans to wonder whether favorites like Michael Pena’s Luis from Ant-Man survived Thanos’ decimation.
While some might suspect Michael Pena would have known by now, it appears the Ant-Man star is still just as unsure as everyone else. During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Michael Pena revealed that he still doesn’t know the official word on what happened to his Ant-Man character after Thanos’ infamous snap:
“Dude, you know what? I have no idea. Ant-Man 3 is not going to be shot for another year or so. After my involvement in the first two Ant-Man movies, we really won’t even know what’s going to happen until one to two months before we film. I have no idea what’s happening to be honest. Right now, Marvel is in a really cool position where they can break hearts by who they bring back and who they don’t. But, I’m still interested even though I have no idea what’s gonna happen, and I can’t wait to find out.”
Fortunately, Michael Pena likely doesn’t need to worry about his Ant-Man character’s fate considering the Avengers specifically used the Infinity Stones to being back everyone Thanos erased. Would you like to see Michael Pena return? Let us know your thoughts on Michael Pena below!
