‘Ant-Man’ Director Peyton Reed Wishes Paul Rudd A Happy Birthday

Ant-Man director Peyton Reed has sent out a happy birthday wish to franchise star Paul Rudd who turned 51 today.

The first Ant-Man film was one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s more troubled productions. Originally the film was set to be directed by Edgar Wright who left the project amid creative differences with Marvel Studios. Peyton Reed then took over the film at seemingly the last second and went on to direct the film’s sequel Ant-Man and The Wasp and is currently set to direct the third Ant-Man film with Paul Rudd.

Today is the birthday of a couple of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s reoccurring actors. Today also happened to be Guardians of the Galaxy star Michael Rooker’s birthday who received a public happy birthday wish from director James Gunn and Peyton Reed did something similar with the Ant-Man star. Earlier today, Peyton Reed asked fans to help him wish Paul Rudd a happy birthday to the Ant-Man actor. You can see the full post below:
