‘Ant-Man And The Wasp’ Art Reveals Different Look At Original Wasp

Ant-Man and The Wasp

So Janet’s Wasp from Ant-Man and the Wasp has rescued from the Quantum Realm. All is well…until the post-credits scene of that film revealed that she, as well as Hank and Hope, had been snapped out of existence. Thanks a lot, Thanos.

But that probably won’t be the last we see of Janet, whether in the Ant-Man films or otherwise. Until then, let’s take a look at what might have been. Alexis Briclot, a concept artist on Ant-Man and the Wasp, as well as Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War, and the upcoming Captain Marvel film, shared an image on her Instagram page that shows what would have shown further exploration of life in the Quantum Realm.

The image, showing Janet in her armor, is accompanied by the caption stating that at this step in the development process, the development team was looking to explore a possible civilization living in the Quantum Realm, which would explain the hi-tech look for Janet’s design here. Have a look at the Ant-Man and the Wasp concept art in the image below.

Though we didn’t get to explore this part of the Quantum Realm, perhaps, once Janet is brought back, she can expand upon this? Maybe in a flashback of sorts? What do you think of the concept art of Janet? Would you have wanted to see life in the Quantum Realm? Let us know in the comments below.

Ant-Man and the Wasp is currently playing in theaters and will be available on home release soon.
