Anthony Daniels recently teased his involvement in a future Star Wars project as C-3PO with a behind-the-scenes photo.
Lucasfilm appears to be moving away from the major players of the Skywalker Saga; however, the studio announced they are developing an animated movie for Disney Plus titled Star Wars: A Droid Story. The special will feature a combination of animation and visual effects for a story that will follow a new character with C-3PO and R2-D2. Given C-3PO’s involvement in the project, Anthony Daniels’ return is likely, especially after what he just posted.
News surrounding C-3PO and R2-D2’s next adventure in Star Wars: A Droid Story has been non-existent since its announcement, but it does look like the project is still in the works based on a recent photo from Anthony Daniels. In the Instagram post, Daniels sports a new kind of suit for his C-3PO return. You can check out the post below.
