Star Wars actor Anthony Daniels tweeted something rather cryptic today and we’re guessing it’s an Episode IX announcement.
Anthony Daniels, who is most famous by interpreting etiquette android C3PO in the Star Wars saga, went on Twitter this evening to post an enigmatic message to all his fans. In the tweet, Daniels says that he’s receiving images of an amazing message coming towards us and also asking if we should be afraid:
How strange. I am receiving images of something amazing coming towards us – travelling over decades through space and time – reaching out to all humans on this planet with its message. What could it be? Should I be afraid? Should you? Stay tuned.

What could it possibly be? Could it be the first trailer for J.J. Abrams’ incoming Episode IX? The movie has been in production for the most part of 2018 and it was set to finish filming by the end of the year. Loveable android and new fan favorite BB-8 and Daniels himself recently announced that they finished filming their scenes for the movie. Also, the movie is set to release this December making a trailer debut more and more likely as the days go by.
Episode IX will be the last of the Skywalker saga, as The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson will carry on with the Star Wars franchise on the silver screen with new characters and a new story.
