Jani Zhao, Indya Moore, and Vincent Regan have all joined the cast of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom as filming continues in the United Kingdom.

Production on Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is in full swing, but The Hollywood Reporter has revealed new cast members who have joined the sequel along with who they will be playing. Jani Zhao is set to play a character named Stingray, Indya Moore will play Karshon, who originally debuted in Green Lantern #24 (1963), and Vincent Regan will replace Graham McTavish as King Atlan.

In addition to the newcomers joining the cast, THR also confirmed Randall Park will be back as Dr. Stephen Shin. Major details on the sequel are scarce, but we’ve known for a while that Game of Thrones actor Pilou Asbaek is also part of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.

Here is the synopsis for the first Aquaman film:

From Warner Bros. Pictures and director James Wan comes an action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, “Aquaman,” starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be… a king.

Directed by James Wan, Aquaman stars Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry, Amber Heard as Mera, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Patrick Wilson as Orm / Ocean Master, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, Ludi Lin as Captain Murk, and Temuera Morrison as Tom Curry.

Aquaman is available on Digital HD, 4K UHD Combo Pack, Blu-ray, and DVD. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom will hit theaters on December 16, 2022.
