As Aquaman heads into its second weekend at the U.S. box office, it’s going to surpass $600 million worldwide.

Aquaman has been making huge waves at the worldwide box office. It opened in several territories before arriving to the U.S., which helped the film garner plenty of box office buzz before Christmas. So far, Aquaman has grossed $122.6 million domestically, which brings its total to directly below the $600 million worldwide.

The report comes from Forbes and notes that the DC film earned a whopping $16.9 million in the U.S. on Wednesday, which is only a 23% drop from the $22 million it raked in on Christmas Day. The current international gross for the film is $473 million which means that Aquaman has officially surpassed The Dark Knight‘s international gross, a whopping $469.7 million. The box office success isn’t going to end this week though. Aquaman is currently on track to surpass $1 billion at the worldwide box office.

Aquaman still has quite a bit of money to earn before it passes The Dark Knight’s worldwide gross but it appears that James Wan’s superhero epic won’t have any trouble doing that before the end of its theatrical run.
