Amber Heard is prepping up for her role in DC’s upcoming solo Aquaman film. In Australia, the star was seen in a behind-the-scenes video where she was training for the role. Courtesy of Twitter user @ReelFada, Heard was seen in a short clip throwing fake punches at the camera. The caption on the video reads “Mera in the making”. Additionally, the short video is set in a gym, and we can see other stunt people rehearsing in front of a mirror.

Director James Wan is closing up the cast of the film, with many new additions being made in the past few weeks. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II was cast as Black Manta, Temuera Morrison was cast as Aquaman’s father, and Nicole Kidman is currently in talks to play the hero’s mother.
Apart from a short tease in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Aquaman will next be seen in Zack Snyder’s Justice League along with Amber Heard who makes her debut as Mera. You can check out the full synopsis as well as the teaser trailer below.
In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder and stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Amy Adams, Jeremy Irons, Amber Heard and Jesse Eisenberg.
