The ongoing case between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp continues to reveal new details about the former couple’s life. Johnny Depp, of course, launched a libel lawsuit against his former wife after she published a Washington Post op-ed. The article detailed the Aquaman star’s experiences with domestic abuse, all but naming former Johnny Depp in the article. This spurred Johnny Depp into action, claiming that, at the very least, the op-ed cost him his role in the Pirates of the Caribbean films.

Over the course of the lawsuit, many details about the former couple’s private life have come out into the open. Johnny Depp has claimed that he was, in fact, the victim of domestic abuse, with some audio recordings serving as evidence for that.  In a more serious instance, Johnny Depp claims that the tips of his fingers were nearly cut off after the Aquaman star threw a vodka bottle at him, shattering it and causes the pieces to slice into his fingers. Amber Heard denies this, stating that her former husband cut off his own fingers after a three-day bender on MDMA/ecstasy while filming one of the Pirates of the Caribbean films. New evidence, however, seems to support the Aquaman star’s count of events.

Earlier today a set of texts were read out loud in a London Court where Johnny Depp texted his personal doctor regarding the situation with his fingers:

“I cut the top of my middle finger off… What should I do!?? Except, of course, go to a hospital…. I’m so embarrassed for jumping into anything with her… F**K THE WORLD!!! JD.”

Less then two weeks later, Johnny Depp texted his doctor again, giving him an update on the situation:

“Thank you for everything. I have chopped off my left middle finger as a reminder that I should never cut my finger off again!! I love you, brother. Johnny.”
