‘Aquaman’: New Look At Amber Heard Training For Mera

Aquaman star Amber Heard has shared a photo on Instagram of herself training with a sword for the action in the upcoming film.

Aquaman star Amber Heard who plays Mera, the Queen of Atlantis, in James Wan’s swashbuckling action adventure has shared a photo on Instagram of herself training with a sword for the action in the upcoming film.

The actress who began her training for Aquaman back in February can now been seen training with a sword under the guidance of  Li Jing Wushu, one of the world’s leading female martial arts experts and top Hollywood stunt performers. You can check it out below.

Heard will be seen starring alongside Jason Mamoa in Aquaman but she will first be introduced into the DCEU later this fall in the epic superhero team-up flick Justice League.

Justice League hits theaters November 17, 2017.

Aquaman also stars Patrick Wilson as Aquaman’s villainous half-brother Orm Marius aka Ocean Master, Temuera Morrison as Aquaman’s father Thomas Curry, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta.

Aquaman is currently slated to hit theaters December 21, 2018.
