‘Aquaman’ Director James Wan: ‘Trailer Barely Scratches the Surface of the Actual Movie’

“Trailers contain spoilers by nature,” said Wan. “So if you don’t want anything spoilt, don’t see it. But I can say this — this 5-min trailer barely scratches the surface of the actual movie.”

The latest preview for Aquaman offered fans another glimpse of James Wan’s vision for the DC film and it appears fans are thrilled with the latest footage that was unveiled. While not everyone was impressed, as some still take issue with this new take on the titular character, a majority of fans took to Twitter to express their excitement over the stunning visuals, intense action scenes, and the colorful cast of interesting characters.

From Warner Bros. Pictures and director James Wan comes an acition-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, “Aquaman,” starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be… a king.
