‘Aquaman’: New Image Featuring Jason Momoa & Amber Heard Released

A brand new image from the upcoming Aquaman film starring Jason Momoa has surfaced.

The new image from Empire Magazine features Momoa’s Arthur Curry alongside Amber Heard’s Mera from when the duo (minor spoiler alert) receives the quest for the King’s Trident. The film follows Aquaman as he goes up against both his half-brother Orm (Patrick Wilson) — who is ready to wage a war on the surface world —  while on a journey to accepting his role as the King of Atlantis.

Here is the synopsis for Aquaman:

Aquaman opens in theaters on December 21, 2018.
