‘Aquaman’ Star Jason Momoa Teases A ‘Way Bigger’ Sequel

Jason Momoa teased an even bigger scope for the upcoming Aquaman sequel.

Warner Bros. and DC’s Aquaman expanded the DC Extended Universe by transporting audiences to the vast underwater kingdom of Atlantis. Furthermore, audiences followed Jason Momoa’s Aquaman and Amber Heard’s Mera across the world as they searched for the Sacred Trident of Atlan.

Now, Jason Momoa has offered fans a hint of what they can expect from the Aquaman sequel. During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Jason Momoa teased an even more epic scale for his return as Aquaman:

“There’s a lot more in store on so many more levels. There’s going to be a lot. It’s way bigger!”

Jason Momoa added that he went to Warner Bros. and proposed his own idea for the Aquaman sequel:

“I’m really stoked at the fan base and what we did with the movie and just went into Warner Bros in D.C. and said, ‘You know, I have some ideas.’ And, they love them and James [Wan, director] and everyone is like, ‘We’re all taking it in. We’re excited to do another one.'”
