‘Aquaman’ Movie Promo Art Surfaces Online

The Aquaman Shrine, a fan community dedicated to all things King of the Seven Seas, gave fans a treat today by sharing some promo art for next year’s solo Aquaman outing.

Created by fan-favorite comic book artists Ivan Reis and Joe Prado, the commissioned promo art for the 2018 film gives us new looks at not only Jason Momoa as Aquaman, but a number of his supporting cast: Amber Heard as Mera, Aquaman’s future wife and queen; Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, his mother; Patrick Wilson as Ocean Master, his brother; and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Aquaman’s archenemy.

Check out the promo art below:

Despite a disappointing showing at the box office, Jason Momoa’s Aquaman has been a highlight of Justice League, with fans and critics alike praising his enthusiastic performance. We’ll get to see a lot more of him in next year’s solo film, the sixth entry in the DC Extended Universe.

Directed by James Wan, Aquaman stars Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry, Amber Heard as Mera, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Patrick Wilson as Orm Marius/Ocean Master, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus, Temuera Morrison as Thomas Curry, Nicole Kidman as Queen Atlanna, and Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko.

Aquaman hits theaters December 21, 2018.
