Aquaman star Patrick Wilson tweeted out an awesome image of his Ocean Master Christmas ornament.
Aquaman hits U.S. theaters next week and promises to deliver a visually stunning adventure. This isn’t just thanks to the digital and practical effects, it’s very much due to the iconic designs of the characters and locations adapted from the comics. Not all of the imagery in Aquaman is straight out of the books but there are two characters who particularly capture their comic book design perfectly, Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) and Ocean Master (Patrick Wilson).
Much like Black Manta, Ocean Master’s most iconic aspect to his costume design is his headgear, the stunning mask you can see at the top of this article. Wilson recently Tweeted out an image of his mask in the form of a Christmas ornament to promote an upcoming appearance at East Side Mags in Montclair, New Jersey tonight, December 15th. Check out the image in the post below to see the ornament.
Ho Ho Who is coming to @eastsidemags tomorrow? ? I am looking forward to meeting most surface dwellers. pic.twitter.com/qTCBz3H1XN

Aquaman isn’t Wilson’s first time playing an iconic comic book character. Back in 2009, Wilson starred as Dan Dreiberg, aka Nite Owl, in the film adaptation of Alan Moore’s Watchmen. Coincidentally, the film also featured two DC Extended Universe alums in its crew. Watchmen was directed by Zack Snyder and featured Billy Crudup as Dr. Manhattan, who would then go on to play Barry Allen’s (Ezra Miller) father in 2017’s Justice League.
