‘Aquaman’ Movie Runtime Officially Confirmed

Aquaman DC Comics James WanAfter several months of rumors and speculation, the official runtime for James Wan’s Aquaman has been confirmed and it is the fourth-longest DCEU film to date.

Heroic Hollywood has learned Aquaman clocks in at 139 minutes despite previous rumors stating the film would be around 140-143 minutes.

This puts Aquaman in the middle as far as DCEU runtimes with Batman v Superman‘s theatrical cut of 151 minutes being the longest to date and Justice League having the shortest with 120 minutes. Aquaman‘s runtime is closest to Wonder Woman and Man of Steel at 141 and 143 minutes receptively.

Directed by James Wan, Aquaman stars Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry, Amber Heard as Mera, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Patrick Wilson as Orm / Ocean Master, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, Ludi Lin as Captain Murk, and Temuera Morrison as Tom Curry.

From Warner Bros. Pictures and director James Wan comes an acition-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, “Aquaman,” starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be… a king.

Aquaman will be released in theaters on December 21, 2018.

‘Titans’ Batmobile Concept Art Reveals Different Takes On Batman’s Iconic Vehicle

Titans BatmobileFollowing its brief appearance in last week’s episode, concept art for Titans’ Batmobile has been released and reveals different takes on Batman’s iconic vehicle.

The latest episode of Titans revealed a brief first look at a new version of the Batmobile while Dick Grayson is in the Batcave via flashback. The final version of the Batmobile in the Titans universe appears to be inspired by Batman 89 and The Animated Series. Concept art has been released and the initial designs were seemingly inspired by many past versions of the Batmobile across different mediums. You can check out the concept art below:

    I really feel like 2:20hrs is too much for a Origin movie.

      Depends on the visuals. The entire introduction section of Fellowship of the Ring takes about 2 hours, almost a full movie itself, for instance,

      For a world as alien as the deep of the sea, not to mention multiple villains to showcase, it’s at the edge of normal. Any longer and it’d start to drag on for a first movie, true, but that’s right on the cusp.
