‘Aquaman’ TV Spot Showcases New Swashbuckling Footage

We are now in this special place in time in which Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Films’ upcoming Aquaman movie directed by James Wan will be hitting theaters next month. With the highly-anticipated DC Extended Universe film ready to make a splash this holiday season, a brand new TV spot continues to show off some new footage from this swashbuckling adventure.

Much of this exciting new Aquaman footage features our titular hero and future King of Atlantis Arthur Curry (Jason Momoa) exhibiting his sense of humor amidst all of the swashbuckling action he must endure as he must take on his half-brother King Orm/Ocean Master (Patrick Wilson) and his new arch nemesis Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II). Throughout his journey, Arthur joins Mera (Amber Heard) as they explore the mysteries of the seven seas.

Wan clearly has his own stamp in terms of visually bringing Atlantis to life. The exciting underwater world as well as his unique vision of the surface world will certainly give the DCEU a sense of adventure more akin to the brighter, optimistic tone of Wonder Woman and open yet another more exciting path for the future of this franchise.
