John Diggle actor David Ramsey has teased at Green Lantern for the series finale of Arrow.
For some time now, fans have speculated that at some point David Ramsey’s character, John Diggle, was destined to become a Green Lantern. The show has constantly teased at John Diggle’s connections to the Green Lantern Corps but has never gone so far as to give David Ramsey one of the rings. In the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover, it was confirmed that Green Lanterns do exist in the Multiverse, even if they only appeared as Ryan Reynolds version of the Green Lantern Corps. But now Arrow star David Ramsey is throwing more hints at his character’s potential connection to and possible future as a Green Lantern.
While speaking to TV Line, David Ramsey did not say that his character would appear as a Green Lantern in Arrow’s series finale but did promise answers that he felt would make everyone happy:
“Without a doubt. You are absolutely going to get your answers. And well-deserved answers. We’ve been talking about this for years, and I think everyone by series’ end will be very happy.”
